Thumbs down amy bernstein realty Houston

Back in February, I decided to sell my home because it looked a good moment to sell in that area (Katy).

My bad luck…… a person suggested Amy Bernstein of a Bernstein Realty. She contacted me and sent her best agent, a Janice Ratliff. 3 months later the house was still on the market, filthy with a lot of damages inside, an electricity bill skyrocketing and roughly 20 false alarm for burglary garage door left open to cool the garage and so on…. This master realtor never made an open house and was never present during more than 50 showings done by other realtors.

At the end I have been lucky since I forced them to terminate the exclusive listing contract.

Erase this realtor from your list of potential brokers

I hate to hear that you had such a bad experience. I hope when you go to list again that you have an agent that provides you with a reasonable level of service and gets your home sold.

Default remax cinco ranch

thank you for your kind reply
I read your email just today
I would like to sell my home, but I think that is a "mission impossible"
I remember that what I was told by a Mr. MacDonnell was probably true ("every week I meet with other realtors to discuss the prices"). He also said that our price could be 300K (upgrades are not important) and no more even if we were looking for 325K. I strongly believe that the house is in mint condition and the listing price is fair therefore I do not understand why after 7 months is still sitting on the market. Do you know this agent? Do you think it can be the result of the policy dictated by Mr. MacDonnell? Almost every house in that area has been sold within 30/40 days and I really start to believe that this realtor has the power to push his collegues to act accordingly.
